You Have
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing analytic solutions.
- Deep knowledge of the capabilities offered by relevant analytic tools and platforms and their interoperability.
- Deep knowledge of cloud-based solutions on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP), including an understanding of the platform’s core services, cost structure, and security.
- In depth knowledge of database architectures and foundational data concepts (change capture, replication, ETL, etc.).
- Have implemented and supported a solution which you designed.
- Hands-on proficiency with a programming language such as Python, and command line interfaces, such as the Linux CLI.
- Expert-level SQL skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Bonus Points for You
- Have designed solutions considering industry compliance regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior team members.
- Possess a professional certification which has demonstrated applicable architectural or technical experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
Your Responsibilities
- Define best-in-practice data and platform architectures.
- Interface with stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical designs and actionable solution implementation plans which express value to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Design and develop analytic solutions which meet client requirements for technical capabilities, security, and performance.
- Provide decision leadership and enforce adherence to technical details of the implementation across ingestion, transformation, visualization, and other capabilities.
- Present solutions to technical and business teams up to an executive level.
- Monitor the quality of technical delivery and guide client/project teams toward a successful implementation.
